ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police to the second respondent police for investigation and filing final report in accordance with law.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the FIR has been registered on 09.06.2022, the case has not been proceeded further. Hence, he seeks to transfer the investigation to the second respondent police.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents would submit that the FIR has been registered only 09.06.2022 and as of now six witnesses have been examined in this case. He would further submit that the investigation is in progress.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents. 2/4

5. In such view of the matter, the first respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.8 of 2022 and file the final report expeditiously.
