This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.1580 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police as per the letter of the 3rd respondent dated 14.04.2019 and RC.No.01/C5PSX/2019 dated 24.04.2019 within a stipulated time frame.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the investigation in Crime No.1580 of 2017 has been completed and during the enquiry, the parties have compromised the matter and pursuant to the compromise, the matter has been closed on 16.12.2021 before the learned VIII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would confirm that the matter has been compromised between the parties.
4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
