Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to conduct the temple and deity car procession of Arulmigu Bagavathi Amman Temple situated in Devarayapuram Village, Senthamangalam Taluk, Namakkal District from 22.05.2025 to 01.06.2022 based on representation of the petitioner dated 25.04.2025. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to conduct the car festival of Bagavathi Amman deity passing through the Adi Dravidar Street of Devarayapuram Village and provide police protection.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the necessary arrangement will be made for the temple car procession passing through Adi Dravidar Street of Devarayapuram Village, if necessary with police protection.

3. Recording the said undertaking, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the HR & CE Department to conduct the car festival of Bagavathi Amman Deity passing through the Adi Dravidar Street of Devarayapuram Village, involving all the community persons in the village. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
