ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, to direct the respondents particularly the Inspector of Police, R.S.Puram Police Station, Coimbatore City the second respondent herein to register an F.I.R on the complaint dated 07.08.2021 sent by registered post to the Director General of Police, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004 and the copy of the complaint was also sent to the respondents on 07.08.2021 and deal with the persons referred in the complaint.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.18.2021, a preliminary enquiry was conducted in C.No.G3/32123/CPO/CBE CITY/2021 and the same was closed on 04.01.2022.

3. At this Juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the closure report has not been served on the petitioner.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to furnish a copy of the closure report on the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the closure report, the petitioner is at liberty to file a protest petition before the Jurisdictional Court.
