Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth and fifth respondents herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2018 and reminder representation dated 27.04.2018 to measure the boundaries bearing Survey Nos.8/3, 8/4A, 8/4B, 8/5, 8/6, 10/1A, 10/1B, 7/1C, 7/2B, 7/3B situated admeasuring 6 acres of lands which is situated at Navakuruchi village, Attur Taluk, Salem District as per revenue records belongs to the petitioner and his parents. ORDER

The petitioner claims to be the absolute owner of the landed property in Survey Nos.8/3, 8/4A, 8/4B, 8/5, 8/6, 10/1A, 10/1B, 7/1C, 7/2B, 7/3B situated at Navakuruchi village, Attur Taluk, Salem District. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also produced two pattas issued in the name of the petitioner. As per the two pattas which are enclosed in the typedset, it is claimed that the petitioner wanted to survey the lands covered in the aforesaid survey numbers, for which he has also submitted a representation and the same is pending for consideration.

2. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents sought sufficient time to consider the representation of the petitioner.

3. This Court hereby directs the fourth and fifth respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner to survey the land of the petitioner covered in Survey Nos.8/3, 8/4A, 8/4B, 8/5, 8/6, 10/1A, 10/1B, 7/1C, 7/2B, 7/3B situated at Navakuruchi village, Attur Taluk, Salem District and do the needful within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
