This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents to correct the petitioner father's name as R.Venkatesan instead of K.R.Venkatesh in Secondary School Certificate.

2. Earlier, the petitioner's request has been considered and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the same has been rejected by the 1st respondent by an order dated 27.09.2016. Without challenging that order, the petitioner cannot seek a Mandamus to correct petitioner father's name in the certificate. Even though an opportunity was given to the petitioner to amend the prayer, he has not come forward to amend the prayer. Hence, the prayer sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. In view of the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
