ORDER

(This case has been heard through Video Conference) The petitioner seeks protection for harassment from the 2nd respondent.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for respondents would submit that, one P.Govindaraj lodged a complaint against the petitioner stating that the petitioner had received a sum of Rs.70,00,000/- from him and thereafter failed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to repay. The complaint has been forwarded in C.O.P. No.194/2021, a current paper. Enquiry was conducted on 29.04.2021. The petitioner as well as complainant had appeared before the 2nd respondent police. Thereafter, both have independently resolved the issue and agreed for settlement. It was informed to the 2nd respondent that the petitioner agreed to pay Rs.1,00,000/- and necessary document has been executed including the cheque for discharge of liability. Recording the same, the complaint has been closed.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives and the petitioner is not needed for enquiry. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
