Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, praying to modify the condition 7(c) and permit the petitioners to report before the Saidapet Police Station for a further period of two weeks, instead of (c) the petitioners shall stay at Chennai and report before the Inspector of Police, Saidapet Police Station, Chennai, everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks, and thereafter report before the respondent police, everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of another two weeks, and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners by an order dated 26.03.2026 in Crl.O.P.No.7742 of 2026, to stay at Chennai and report before the Inspector of Police, Saidapet Police Station, Chennai, everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks, and thereafter report before the respondent police, everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of another two weeks, and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation.

2. Heard both sides.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, the condition imposed as against the petitioners is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall report before the Inspector of Police, Saidapet Police Station, Chennai, daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of four weeks, and thereafter, as and when required for interrogation. The other conditions shall remain unaltered.
