ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable u/s.376,417,506 [i] of IPC read with sections 3 & 4 of Prevention of Children from Sexual ofences Act, in Crime No.2/2017, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, under the guise of marrying the defacto complainant, who is aged 17 years, had sexual relationship with her and thereafter, refused to marry her and further, he also threatened her with dire consequences.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Having regard to the nature of allegations that the petitioner allegedly had sexual relationship with the defacto complainant and that now, she is 9 months pregnant and that the investigation is still pending, at this stage this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The petition stands dismissed.
