PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 17.08.2015 and dispose the same according to law.

ORDER

Placing reliance upon a sale deed said to have been executed by one Malar, the petitioner made a representation dated 17.08.2015 to the respondent seeking for issuance of patta with respect to property situated in plot No. 7/67, in survey No. 523 at Nethaji Street, Astalakshmi Nagar, Velachery, Chennai -42. As the said representation is yet to be disposed of, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the pendency of the representation dated 17.08.2015 made by the petitioner, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
