PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 27.03.2014 which is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER

Being aggrieved against the order passed by the respondent No. 3, an appeal was preferred by the petitioner before the respondent No. 2 on 27.03.2014. As the said appeal is yet to be disposed of, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the pendency of the representation made by the petitioner, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent No.2 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as third parties, if any. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
