This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the complaint dated 03.08.2016 and enquire the matter in fair manner and file a final report within the time limit as stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by one Mr.Radhakrishnan, a case in Crime No.8/2006 has been registered by the District Crime Branch, Thanjavur on 07.05.2016 against this petitioner for offences under Sections https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

406, 420 & 506(ii) I.P.C. Later, the petitioner was arrested and released on bail. As a counter blast, the petitioner herein has given the present complaint dated 03.08.2016 to the Commissioner of Police alleging that he was abducted by the opposite party while he was near City Center. The complaint given by the petitioner has been forwarded to the Inspector of Police, E-4 Abiramapuram Police Station, Chennai and that the E4 Abiramapuram Police Station, had issued summons to the petitioner for his appearance. But, the petitioner did not cooperate and therefore, the enquiry was closed. 4.Under such circumstances, the closure report filed by the E-4 Abiramapuram Police Station, Chennai, is set aside and the petitioner is directed to appear in person before the second respondent and on such appearance, the second respondent shall conduct enquiry and either close the case or take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
