PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider and dispose of 1st petitioner's representation addressed to respondents dated 27.12.2012, 08.10.2013, 24.07.2014, 01.12.2014, 23.01.2015, 30.03.2015 and 13.04.2015 and 2nd petitioner's representations addressed to respondents dated 24.07.2014, 12.09.2014, 28.01.2015 and 27.04.2015.

ORDER

It is the specific case of the petitioners that out of Ac.8.56 cents in Survey No.39, Kunnathur village, Maduranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, an extent of 0.53 cents was sold to the husband of the 1st petitioner by Bakiya Ammal and an extent of 0.43 cents was sold to the 2nd petitioner by one https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Xavier, under registered sale deeds. However, one Anthriyas, by creating false documents, has got the Patta in his name for the entire extent of Ac.8.56 cents. Therefore, the petitioners made several representations to the respondents right from 27.12.2012 to 27.04.2015. As the representations have not been considered and no proper action has been taken by the respondents, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the pendency of the representations made by the petitioners, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent No. 3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representations dated 27.12.2012 and 24.07.2014 made by the 1st petitioner and dated 24.7.2014 and 12.09.2014 made by the 2nd petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners as well as third parties, if any, including the person named Antriyas.
