PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2015 and initiate action in light of the circular No. 67 dated 03.11.2011 (C.No. 52338/C1/2011) issued by the 1st respondent. ORDER

The petitioner made a representation dated 27.07.2015 to the 2nd respondent, alleging that fraud has been committed by the 3rd respondent in registering the sale deed for the property belonging to the petitioner. The petitioner has also placed reliance upon the circular No. 67, dated 03.11.2011 issued by the 1st respondent (C.No. 52338/C1/2011) and a first information report in Crime No.492 of 2014 on the file of Chennai City Police Station, Central Crime Branch. As no further action is forthcoming pursuant to the same, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner before this Court.

3. Considering the pendency of the representation dated 27.07.2015 made by the petitioner, a direction is hereby issued to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.07.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as respondent No. 3. No costs.
