ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2022 on the file of the respondent to any other investigation agency to conduct the fair investigation and to file final report.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the FIR has been registered on 16.03.2022, the case has not been proceeded further. Hence, he seeks to transfer the investigation to some other agency.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondent would submit that the documents collected in this case is sent to the forensic department and since the allegation itself indicated impersonation fraud, it requires some times for the investigating agency to proceed further.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondent. 2/4

5. In such view of the matter, mere delay in investigation cannot be a ground to transfer the investigation. However, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation in Crime No.13 of 2022 and file the final report expeditiously.
