Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2014 to secure the ends of justice. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2014.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he is visually challenged person and entitled to be considered for the post of Office Assistant in the District Collector Office, Krishnagiri as a special category candidate, still he has not been appointed in the post of Office Assistant. In this regard he made a representation to the respondents on 06.06.2014, seeking to consider him for appointment to the post of Office Assistant in the District Collector Office, Krishnagiri on the said ground. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till date. Hence, he has come forward with this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the submissions made, this Court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2014, if the same is pending on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment for disposal of the same. However it is made clear that this Court has expressed no opinion on the merits of the case.
5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
