Placing reliance upon a deed of partition dated 12.09.2006 executed among the family members in respect of the properties, the petitioner made a representation on 25.9.2015 to the respondent for transfer of patta in respect of lands measuring an extent of 0.12.0 Ares comprised in Survey No.793/4 situate at Onnalwadi village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District. However, the same is pending for consideration before the respondent. Seeking early consideration of the said representation dated 25.9.2015, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the pendency of the representation before the respondent for consideration, without going into the merits of the same, the respondent is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 25.9.2015 made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the third parties, if any.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
