This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to waive entire instalment of loan that are overdue in respect of he Tractor Loan Account NO.555722071 by implementing the Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme, 2008.
2. After elaborate arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in the last hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he will bring a Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- towards full quit and at that time the learned counsel appearing for the respondent is also present. However, today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in treatment in the hospital and therefore the demand draft could not be drawn. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner shall pay a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. On 2/4
such payment, the bank shall close the account of the petitioner. In the event the amount is not paid within six weeks, the bank is at liberty to proceed against the petitioner as per law.
