Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1, 2 and 5 to give necessary force of police protection to survey the petitioner's property comprised in old S.No.876/1 & 889, New S.No.1/1A1B to an extent of 1-45.00 hectare situated at Vellakarai Village, Cuddalore (Tk) Cuddalore (Dt) and to re fix the boundary stone in the property, by considering petitioner representation dated 24.04.2025 on any of the post date fixed by the 3rd and 4th respondents and further direct the respondents 1, 2 and 5 to take sever criminal action against anybody removes or damages the boundaries stones in old S.No.876/1 & 889 New No.S.No.1/1A1B of the above said property in future. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner for survey his properties comprised in old S.No.876/1 & 889, New S.No.1/1A1B to an extent of 1-45.00 hectare situated at Vellakarai Village, Cuddalore (Tk) Cuddalore (Dt), by considering the representation dated 24.04.2025 made by the petitioner.

The petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in old S.No.876/1 & 889, New S.No.1/1A1B to an extent of 1-45.00 hectare situated at Vellakarai Village, Cuddalore (Tk) Cuddalore (Dt). While being so, there is boundary dispute between the petitioner and the sixth respondent, who is a being the neighbour of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner intended to survey his property and submitted application. However, the sixth respondent is restraining the officials to survey the petitioner property. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition with the above prayer.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the material placed before this Court. 4.

Admittedly, the petitioner is the owner of the property. If any application to survey the land with requisite fee is pending before the revenue authority and if the revenue authority engaged any surveyor to survey the petitioner's land and if there is any obstruction from the sixth respondent, the concerned revenue official may ask for police protection

before the jurisdiction police station. On receipt of the same, the jurisdiction police is directed to conduct enquiry and pass order to provide adequate police protection to survey the petitioner's land. 5.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
