Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to return the original certificates of the petitioner collected by the third respondent at the time of his admission.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondents to return the original certificates of the petitioner which were collected by the third respondent at the time of his admission.

2. Mr.K.H.Ravi Kumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final hearing in the admission stage itself.

3. Heard Mr.N.Naganathan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.H.Ravi Kumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court the instructions received by him. As seen from the said instructions, the petitioner completed the course before 2 years and therefore, the respondents have agreed to return the certificates back to the 2/4

petitioner. The said undertaking given by the respondents is recorded by this Court.

5. After recording the undertaking given by the respondents, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the third respondent for return of the original certificates and on the request made by the petitioner, the third respondent shall return the original certificates immediately to the petitioner.
