JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The present intra-Court Appeal has been instituted to assail the writ order dated 25.03.2022 in WP.No.19550 of 2013. The Writ Court found that the appellant/writ petitioner retired from service in the year 2012. The appellant has given his willingness to be transferred to present Department on 30.05.1986 itself. However, he was not transferred pursuant to the willingness exercised by the writ appellant. Under those circumstances, the writ petition filed in comparison with the other employees in the parent department of the appellant could not be entertained. There is a delay of 27 years in filing the writ petition 2/4

seeking the relief of promotion, which cannot be entertained. Since there is an enormous delay in seeking the relief before the Writ Court, the learned Single Judge dismissed the writ petition. This Court does not find any infirmity in respect of the writ order impugned. Consequently, the Writ Appeal stands dismissed. No costs.
