O R D E R

The petitioner, who is a student undergoing BDS Course under the Management quota, has come forward with the present writ petition, seeking a direction to the respondent Bank to give educational loan to undergo and complete her studies. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondent Bank.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for completing the said course, a sum of Rs.15 lakhs is required.

4.The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that as per the Educational Loan Scheme, only a sum of Rs.4 lakhs is the permissible limit, without furnishing security. 5.In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would submit sufficient security to the satisfaction of the respondent bank.

6.The learned counsel for the respondent would further submit that the petitioner will have to submit an application in the prescribed format by furnishing full particulars of security for her educational loan amount.

7.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly, by giving liberty to the petitioner to make out necessary application with all particulars, enclosing the sufficient security for the loan amount required, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when such application is received, the respondent bank shall consider the same and take appropriate action, within a period of four weeks thereafter. No costs.
