ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents herein to issue patta in favour of the petitioners to their vacant house site, measuring an extent of 3260 square feet situated at Old No.187, New No.139, Present No.52, Perumbakkam Village, previously Tambaram Taluk, now Sholinganallur Taluk, Kanchipuram District in view of their applications dated 30.04.2024 and 27.05.2024.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. It is the case of the petitioners that the petitioners are the owners of the subject property by virtue of the sale deed dated 05.03.2010. The grievance of the petitioners is that though they have given applications to the respondents for issuance of patta, the same has not been considered by the 2/4

respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioners, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 30.04.2024 and 27.05.2024 and pass Orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of the two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
