ORDER

The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.583/2017 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 147, 148, 323, 324, 307, 302, 363 and 383 IPC r/w. Section 3(1) of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act 1992 r/w. 3(1)(c), 3(1)(r), 3(1)(t) of Tamil Nadu Scehedule Caste and Schedule Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015, seeks a direction to the Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai District, to consider and dispose of his bail application that will be filed by him under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is prepared to surrender before the Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai District, there shall be a direction to the the Principal Sessions Judge, Thiruvannamalai District, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioner along with his surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The petitioner is directed to give advance notice to the Additional Public Prosecutor

before the said court. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
