O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents herein to consider, dispose of and pass orders on merits, the representation of the petitioner dated 15.09.2022 to include his name in the list of contract labourers and to absorb him as permanent employee in the respondent's board.

2. The case of the writ petitioner is that he has been engaged as a contract labourer with the 3rd respondent and on 15.09.2022; he has made a representation to the 2nd respondent through the 3rd respondent to make his appointment permanent in the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board. It is the grievance of the writ petitioner that the said representation has not been acted upon.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition and having heard the Electricity Board as well, it would be sufficient to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.09.2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
