ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed in Crl.O.P.No.9310 of 2026 dated 15.04.2026, whereby this Court

directed that the petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Arcot, on condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties each, for a like sum to the satisfaction of the concerned learned Magistrate. The petitioner was also directed to report before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m for a period of two weeks.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a resident of Coonoor and is presently pursuing his postgraduate doctoral studies. It was further submitted that compliance with the condition imposed by this Court requires the petitioner to travel frequently, thereby causing considerable hardship and inconvenience and adversely affecting his academic pursuits.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds that the petitioner had obtained anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P. No. 9310 of 2026 apprehending arrest in connection with a case registered by D-3 Rathinagiri Police Station, Ranipet, which falls within the jurisdiction of the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Arcot. In such circumstances, this Court does not find any sufficient ground or reason to modify the condition imposed in Crl.O.P. No. 9310 of 2026, dated 15.04.2026.

4. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition stands dismissed. 02-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order dpa To 1.The District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, Arcot. 2.The Inspector of Police, D-3, Rathinagiri Police Station, Ranipet - 632 517. 3.The Public Prosecutor, High Court, Madras.
