ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent viz., the Inspector of Police, Katpadi Police Station, Vellore District to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No. 224 of 2022 for the offence under Section 457 and 380 of IPC before the concerned Court within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No. 224 of 2022 on 20.05.2022, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant. 2/4
