ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner is the mother of the convict. The present habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking two weeks leave to attend the marriage of son of convict's elder sister. The convict is the maternal uncle of the aforesaid person, whose marriage is to be conducted on 26.10.2020.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The aforesaid factum has been acknowledged as correct by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. In such view of the matter, we are inclined to grant one week leave subject to the usual conditions that can be imposed, with minimum escort. The convict shall be released on 21.10.2020 at 10.00 a.m. and return back to prison on 28.10.2020 at 5.00 p.m.

5. The habeas corpus petition stands disposed of accordingly. Post the matter 'for reporting compliance' on 29.10.2020.
