ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent to disconnect the electricity service connection given to the Borewell pump set in Service Connection No.1389, comprised in Survey No.82/1, measuring an extent of 1 hectare and 43.5 ares, Muttathur Village, Vikravaandi Taluk, Villupuram District in pursuance of the order passed by the third respondent in dated 24.07.2020 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.09.2020.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the sixth respondent Panchayat has put up a Borewell in the private property belonging to the petitioner and has also availed a service connection. Subsequent to the direction of this Court the respective learned counsel for the respondents reported that this Borewell has wrongly been effected in the private property

belonging to the petitioner and service connection also been disconnected. Written instructions is also placed before this Court.

3. By recording the written instructions produced by the learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of. In view of the further development, the petitioner shall use the Borewell only for rain water harvesting. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
