dated 29.05.2025 and pay him the difference in Leave Salary, Gratuity and Arrears of Pension from 01.07.2024 to 31.07.2025 along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement within a time limit.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "to direct the respondents to revise the petitioner's wages with effect 01.09.2023 based on the 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025 and pay him the difference in Leave Salary, Gratuity and Arrears of Pension from 01.07.2024 to 31.07.2025 along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement."

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner joined the service of the first respondent Transport Corporation as Conductor on 01.06.1990 and retired on 31.05.2024 as a Checking Inspector. Subsequently, the 15th Wage Settlement was entered into between the Management and the Trade Unions on 29.05.2025, pursuant to which the wages and pension were also revised with effect from 01.09.2023. Since the petitioner had retired on 31.05.2024, he is entitled to the difference in leave salary, gratuity and arrears of pension as per the 15th Wage Settlement. Accordingly, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking the difference in leave salary, gratuity and arrears of pension as per the 15th wage settlement dated 29.05.2025. However, the said representation has not been considered so far.

In view of the above, the respondents are directed to pay the applicable differential amount of leave salary, gratuity and arrears of pension to the petitioner from 01.07.2024 to 31.07.2025, in accordance with the 15th Wage Settlement dated 29.05.2025, together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
