Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2020 and to direct the 2nd respondent to renew the petitioner's lodge license No.Z.O.V./HDC/No.3642/2018 for the academic year 2020-21. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 4.6.2020, wherein, the petitioner has sought for renewal of the licence to run the lodge during the year 2020-2021.

2. Heard Mr.V. Raghupathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.Ramadevi, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Corporation.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for inthe Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 4.6.2020 and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly with the above direction.
