ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to conduct investigation on the complaint and file a final report in Crime No.1371 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.1371 of 2017 for an offence under Sections 406, 420 and 506(ii) IPC on 21.09.2017 and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking proper investigation in Crime No.1371 of 2017.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration of the fact that case was registered as early as on 21.09.2017, the present criminal original petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.1371 of 2017 and file the final report

within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
