Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents on the basis of representation made by the writ petitioner dated 10.02.2023 and pass such further orders. This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the writ petitioner dated 10.02.2023.

2. The case of the Petitioner is that she was born in Nilgiri and studied in Kerala and other District and is now working as a Temporary Veterinary doctor, practicing in Dindigul District.

3. The Notification No.34/2022 dated 18.11.2022 for direct recruitment to the post of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon included in the Tamil Nadu Animal Husbandary Services Eligibility Test requires SSLC Examination or its equivalent with Tamil as one of the languages as educational qualification and the scheme of examination prescribes mandatory Tamil Eligibility Test as Paper-II.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the writ petitioner studied in Main Language paper "English and Hindi" and holds a Degree in Veterinary, she seeks exemption under G.O.No.49 dated 23.05.2022, from writing the mandatory 'Tamil Eligibility 2/4

Test'. The Petitioner has sought a clarification through her representation dated 10.02.2023, whether disabled persons who have studied English as one of the language paper are also exempted under G.O.No.49 dated 23.05.2022. Since the representation of the petitioner was not considered, she has come up with the present Writ Petition.

5. A counter affidavit was filed on behalf of the first respondent dated 20.05.2024.

6. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 10.02.2023 would be considered on merits, in accordance with law within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

7. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

8. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsels on either side, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.02.2023 on merits, in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six 3/4

(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. J.SATHYA NARAYANA PRASAD, J.

In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and direction. No costs.
