Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified MANDAMUS, to call for the records of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.305/2006 dated 03.08.2006 issued by the third respondent, restricting the date of bringing the petitioner into regular time scale with effect from 23.06.2006 onwards alone and quash the same and to issue consequential direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to bring the petitioner into regular time scale from 20.05.2001, on which date he completed three years of consolidated pay service in the light of G.O.Ms.No.199, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, dated 12.08.1997 and G.O.Ms.No.84, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 21.05.1998 and to pay all consequential services and monetary benefits.

This writ petition has been filed Challenging the order passed by the third respondent restricting the date of bringing the petitioner into regular time scale only with effect from 23.06.2006, and quash the same and to issue consequential direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to bring the petitioner into regular time scale from 20.05.2001, on which date he completed three years of consolidated pay service in the light of G.O.Ms.No.199, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, dated 12.08.1997 and G.O.Ms.No.84, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department dated 21.05.1998 and to pay all consequential services and monetary benefits. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.R.

Govindasamy, the learned Special Government Pleader, on instruction submitted that the prayer sought for by the petitioner has been complied with and the petitioner got regular time scale and also paid the entire arrears of salary payable to him and he has also produced the letter sent by the third respondent to that effect. It is also submitted that the petitioner himself has given undertaking before the third respondent that he will withdraw the writ petition. 3.Recording the above said submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P. is closed.
