ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioner based on his complaint dated 30.12.2025.

2. The petitioner submitted that he and the third respondent are residents of the same Village and there was some business transaction between them. The petitioner had mortgaged his property and taken loan from him. Subsequently, the amount could not be repaid as agreed. Hence, there was difference of opinion and the Village elders intervened and amicably settled the issue. However, pressing these facts, the third respondent lodged a complaint, pursuant to which the second respondent is allegedly interfering in the civil dispute and harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that the petitioner is ready to cooperate with the investigation.

4. Considering the submissions and perusal of materials, this Court directs the second respondent to issue summons to the petitioner and thereafter call him for enquiry. Upon receipt of such summons, the petitioner shall appear before the second respondent and substantiate his case by producing necessary documents. In any event, the enquiry should be completed within a period of

two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
