This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein vide The Joint Commissioner, (HR & CE) Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department TRICHY to pass appropriate FINAL ORDERS on the said ENQUIRY vide O.A. 10/10 as per Section 63(b) of the (HR & CE) Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments ACT, 1959, within a reasonable time frame as fixed by this Court to appoint the petitioner herein as ''Hereditary Trustee'' of ''Arulmigiu Sellandiyamman Thirukkoil'', as per Section 54(1) of the (HR & CE) Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments ACT, 1959, taking into account and based on the letter and report of the 3rd respondent vide the Assistant Commissioner, H.R. & C.E. letter No: Na.Ka.5538/09/A5 dated 20/11/2009. ORDER

The petitioner has filed an application under Section 63 (b) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, seeking to appoint him as the Hereditary Trustee of Arulmigiu Sellandiyamman Thirukkoil. As the same is pending consideration with the respondent No. 2, the present writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking appropriate orders on the same.

2. A perusal of the records would show that the application filed under Section 63(b) of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959, is pending for consideration in O.A. 10/10 on the file of respondent No. 2.

3. Considering the above, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate final orders in O.A. No. 10/10, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

Accordingly the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
