Prayer:- Writ Petition filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1-4 to revise the seniority of the petitioners on par with the candidates selected along with them through the selection conducted on 07.04.1997 and 08.04.1997 by placing them above the name of Thiru.S.Elango in seniority No.617 in the seniority list of Forests Guards and grant them all attendant benefits in the Forester Cadre and grant them promotion to the post of Forest Range Officer with effect from the date of promotion given to the 5th respondent to the posts of Forester and Forest Range Officer.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1-4 to revise the seniority of the petitioners on par with the candidates selected along with them through the selection conducted on 07.04.1997 and 08.04.1997 by placing them above the name of Thiru.S.Elango in seniority No.617 in the seniority list of Forests Guards and grant them all attendant benefits in the Forester Cadre and grant them promotion to the post of Forest Range Officer 2/5
with effect from the date of promotion given to the 5th respondent to the posts of Forester and Forest Range Officer.
2. The case of the petitioners is that the petitioners have given a representation to the respondents to revise their seniority on par with the candidates selected along with them through the selection conducted on 07.04.1997 and 08.04.1996. As the same has not been considered by the respondents, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
3. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the representation of the petitioners has been considered and Orders have been passed by rejecting the claim of the petitioners in Na.K.No.A.Aa.1/33856/2019, dated 19.09.2023.
4. Since the representation of the petitioners has already been considered and the claim of the petitioners has already been rejected by an Order dated 19.09.2023, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

5. According, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. It is well open to the writ petitioners to challenge the Order of the second respondent dated 19.09.2023.
