Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 & 2 to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds in the place of her deceased father R.Nataraj who was working as Village assistant in the office of Pappankulam Village, under the office of the Thasildhar Avinashi, Tirupur District.

Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The case of the petitioner is that her father R.Nataraj who was working as a Village Assistant in the office of Pappankulam Village in Avinashi Taluk died on 05.03.2013 while he was in service. The petitioner submitted an application on 06.02.2014 to the first respondent seeking compassionate appointment through her mother. not considered the representation. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.K.Balakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
4. Though the petitioner has prayed for larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 06.02.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
