Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 4 to 8 to take appropriate action as against the illegal quarrying of bricks in hill areas situated in Coimbatore District based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2022.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 4 to 8 to take appropriate action against the illegal quarrying of bricks in the hill areas of Coimbatore.
2. The above prayer is based on the representation of the petitioner dated 17.05.2022. Photographs have been enclosed to indicate the aforesaid. But, the persons alleged to have involved in the illegal quarrying have not been impleaded as party respondents, though effectively order would be against them. It is not that the petitioner was not knowing the names of the persons as it has been mentioned in the representation, but did not implead them as parties. Thus, the writ petition suffers from non-joinder of necessary parties. Accordingly, it is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
