ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent to issue a patta in respect of the vacant plot measuring an extent of 0.03 cents in survey No.201, Periyapalayam Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Tiruvallur District.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has purchased the subject property on 23.06.1976, vide Sale Deed No.627/1976, which remains vacant, at present. Under this circumstances, the petitioner has made a representation dated 21.07.2025, before the first respondent, seeking patta for the subject property. Upon receipt of the same, the second respondent rejected the petitioner's application vide his letter dated 29.08.2025. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.M.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner's representation has already been considered and proceedings was also passed on 29.08.2025. In the event the petitioner makes fresh representation, the same will be considered within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
5. As rightly contended by the learned Government's Counsel appearing for the respondents, this Court directs the petitioner to make fresh representation before the second respondent for issuance of patta for the subject property,
within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon such receipt, the second respondent is directed to dispose the said representation, after giving due notice to the petitioner and aggrieved parties, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereof.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
