R5 in WP 24419/2018 COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of Writs of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take into account 50% of the service rendered by the petitioners from initial appointment till regularisation (i.e. 04.11.1985 to 15.10.1992, 30.06.1983 to 15.10.1992, 25.09.1987 to 15.10.1992, 18.11.1986 to 15.10.1992, 08.10.1986 to 15.10.1992, 03.11.1986 to 15.10.1992, 31.07.1987 to 15.10.1992, 05.01.1987 to 15.10.1992, 17.07.1989 to 15.10.1992, 17.07.1989 to 15.10.1992 respectively) for the purpose of retirement benefits, including pension. C O M M O N O R D E R The reliefs sought for in these writ petitions are for a direction to direct the respondents to take into account 50% of the services rendered by the writ petitioners from their initial appointments till regularisation for the purpose of retirement benefits, including pension.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the issues raised in the present writ petitions were considered by the Government and the Government issued G.O.Ms.No.194, School Education Department, dated 12.9.2018. Accordingly, the writ petitioners are bound to approach the Competent Authorities by way of submitting representations in order to redress their grievances as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.194, School Education Department, dated 12.9.2018.

3. In this regard, the writ petitioners are directed to approach the Competent Authorities by submitting representations and in the event of receiving any such representations, the cases of the writ petitioners shall be considered on individual basis and the authorities are bound to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

4. With the above directions, the writ petitions stand disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
