ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 18.07.2022 seeking permission to run cable TV network in Iyyan Thiruvalluvar Nagar, Residential apartment PartI, II, III, Sulur town, Coimbatore District and to give cable TV connections.
2. Mr. M.Babu Muthu Meeran, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the Respondents.
3. The petitioner is a cable TV Operator under the Tamil Nadu Arasu TV Cable TV Corporation and he sought permission to run a cable TV network to give cable TV connections to the residential apartments which are under the control of the 2nd respondent, vide his representation dated 18.07.2022 before the 2nd respondent. However, till date, the said representation has not been considered. Hence, this Writ Petition has been filed.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, however, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2022 and pass orders on merits, within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. On the above contention, this Court heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents.
6. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2022 seeking permission to run a cable TV network in the area within the control of the 2nd respondent and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons if any.
