Prayer in W.P.No.18483 of 2021: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to forthwith consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 14.07.2021 submitted for disbursement of the monetary benefits towards the arrears of Earned Leave Salary for 240 days, 50% of Un-earned Leave salary for 180 days in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission Revised Scale of Pay and the arrears of salary for 12 months i.e from 01.06.1988 till 31.05.1989 in accordance with the 5th Pay Commission with permissible interest to the petitioner.

2.It is noticed that the petitioners have already retired and sanctioned orders have also been passed by the Local Fund Audit Department to sanction the pension and other retirement benefit to the petitioners.
3.Considering the above fact that the petitioners have already retired and have not received their pension and terminal
benefits despite a considerable efflux of time, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to ensure that the pensionary and retirement benefits of the respective petitioners are released immediately preferably by last week of October 2021. 4.These writ petitions stand disposed of.
