ORDER
The petitioners made a request by way of individual representations dated 29.10.2014 to the 1st respondent seeking issuance of Patta in their favour, on the ground that they have been residing in the land in Survey No. 358 of Paiyanur Village, Thiruporur Taluk, Kancheepuram District for quite number of years. The Revenue Inspector has given his inquiry report dated 21.01.2015 and recommended Patta in favour of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioners. As no further action is forthcoming on the part of the respondent No. 3, despite the same, this present writ petition is filed by the petitioners before this Court.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that a resolution has been passed in favour of the petitioners on 13.10.2014 by the President of the Paiyanur Village Panchayat. The respondent No. 3 has also directed the Revenue Inspector to conduct an inquiry, which is also been done. Therefore, it is appropriate that the respondent No. 3 will have to pass appropriate orders based upon the available materials.
3. Considering the same, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent No. 3 to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representations made by the petitioners dated 29.10.2014 by taking into consideration the inquiry report of the Revenue Inspector dated 21.01.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
