ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to register the complaint of the petitioner.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he had sent an online complaint on 15.07.2021 informing the respondent police that on 12.07.2021, while he was travelling from Parrys to Red Hills in share auto by carrying the original settlement deed in Document No.57 of 2004, the said document was found missing. Despite receipt of the on-line complaint, the respondent police has not taken any steps. Hence, the present petition.

The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that the the petitioner's on-line complaint has been received and to get particulars, the petitioner was summoned, but, he had failed to appear. If the petitioner appear before the respondent police, give clarification with regard to the missing of the documents and other particulars, enquiry would be conducted and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
thereafter, necessary action would be taken. He further submitted that petitioner's personal appearance, verification and collection of materials are necessary, since several complaints have been lodged for missing of documents, but later, such documents are either handed over to the third persons for getting loans or some other purposes. The Non Traceable Certified copy of the documents are used for executing further documents, which leads to filing of both Civil and Criminal cases.
4. Considering the above submission, this Court finds that to ascertain the truth, appearance of the petitioner for enquiry and verification is necessary.
5. In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police, produce necessary documents in support of his contention and also participate in the enquiry. Thereafter, it is for the respondent police to dispose the complaint of the petitioner in accordance with law.
6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
