PRAYER:

This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 to measure the petitioner's landed property situated in Survey No. 273/2-2 acres 88 cents, Survey No. 281/2-0.06 cents and S.No. 281/3-1 acre 25 cents, Kuppakkalmedu Village within the jurisdiction of Karnavoor Panchayat, Banavaram Post, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District - 632 505 with the help of 4th respondent police and erect mile stones with further direction to issue patta towards the same in the name of petitioner. ORDER

The petitioner made a request to the respondent No. 1 on 26.08.2015 seeking measurement of property situated in Survey Nos. 273/2, 281/2 and 281/3, situated at Kuppakkalmedu Village, Karnavoor Panchayat, Banavaram Post, Arakkonam Taluk, Vellore District. On its receipt, the respondent No. 1 directed the respondent No. 2, in and by the proceedings dated 18.09.2015 to take appropriate action in respect of the request of the petitioner dated 26.08.2015. As the said direction was not complied with by the respondent No. 2, the present writ petition is filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents.

3. Considering the above, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent No. 2 to consider and pass appropriate final orders pursuant to the proceedings of respondent No. 1 in Na.Ka.Q/181712/15 dated 18.09.2015, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as third parties if any, including the private respondents. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
