ORDER

This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to act upon the letter dated 30.11.2023 forwarded by the 2nd respondent against the petitioner's request of relieving him under voluntary retirement scheme and from the respondent's services.

2. When the matter came up for admission today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent produced an order dated 15.06.2024 passed by the Primary Education Officer, Namakkal, whereby, approval was granted and the petitioner was permitted to go on voluntary retirement with effect from 30.11.2023 and was ordered to be relieved from service.

3. In view thereof, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous and recording the same this writ petition stands closed. Needless

to mention that since the approval has been granted for the petitioner to go on voluntary retirement, the consequently benefits shall be disbursed expeditiously. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
