ORDER

The writ petition is filed for the relief set out below: "directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation letter dated 24.03.2026 and grant transfer to Government Medical College, Coimbatore on medical and humanitarian grounds within a time frame fixed by this Court."

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is presently working as a Nursing Tutor Grade-II at the School of Nursing, Ooty Medical College, Nilgiris District. She has been issued promotion vide proceedings dated 27.02.2026 by the second respondent. Since her daughter is suffering from serious chronic autoimmune disorder, she made a representation to transfer her to Government Medical College, Coimbatore, on medical and humanitarian grounds, for which, there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the

petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.03.2026, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
