The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.No.26603 of 2023 dated 12.09.2023.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents filed an affidavit of the 2nd respondent and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder:

"4.It is submitted that based on the order of the Hon'ble High Court, Madras, and representation dated 26.08.2023 considered to survey the land, on 29.09.2023 at about 10.00 hours, Tr.Rajathamaripandiyan, the then Inspector of Police along with Tr.PremkumarSub Inspector of Police, Tr.Venkatesan-Gr.I PC 1232, Tr.Anbu-Gr.I PC 2367, Tr.Arun-Gr.I PC 781, Tmt.Revathi-WGr.I PC 263 and Tmt.Elakkiyavathi-WGr.I PC 349 given a police protection to survey the land in new survey no.649/2B, Vegakollai Village, Kadampuliyur, Cuddalore District and complied the order of this Hon'ble High Court, Madras."
