Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to punish the respondents for their wilful disobedience of the order dated 08.01.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.19086 of 2022 under the provisions of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 08.01.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.19086 of 2022 thereby directing the respondent to engage the petitioner in the alternative employment as Helper non-ITI. Further the petitioner is also entitled for backwages, continuity of service and other attendant benefits.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the petitioner was engaged in the alternative employment. Insofar as other benefits and backwages are concerned, the second respondent already sent recommendation and it is pending before the respondents' Board for consideration.

Considering the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel, the respondents are directed to pay the backwages and other benefits to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
